Moscow, 12 November 2020 – the online hypermarket Perekrestok Vprok has started delivering in new regions. Now, residents of Kazan and Cheboksary can order goods right to their doors.
Orders will be processed in Nizhny Novgorod, where the closest Perekrestok Vprok dark store is located. Customers can order anything from the online store’s assortment of around 25,000 SKUs, including fresh and frozen foods. Frozen goods are transported in thermoboxes with dry ice. The hypermarket’s transportation fleet is equipped with refrigerators to ensure products are delivered in compliance with temperature requirements.
"We decided to expand Perekrestok Vprok to Kazan and Cheboksary based on market research and an analysis of consumer demand. People in these cities are very keen to use online services. What’s more, this is somewhat of a personal story for us, since part of our team works in Innopolis. We would like them to be able to use the services that they have played such a key role in creating," said Leonid Dovladbegyan, Managing Director of Perekrestok Vprok.
Orders made from Kazan and Cheboksary will be delivered the next day. For orders over RUB 1,500, delivery is free, but within longer time frames, while orders from RUB 2,000 will be delivered free of charge within a convenient 2-hour window.
