The logistics centre will supply imported fruits and vegetables to all distribution centres of X5’s Pyaterochka, Perekrestok and Chizhik retail chains. The ribbon-cutting ceremony was attended by Alexander Ruppel, Deputy Governor of the Krasnodar Territory; Andrey Kravchenko, Head of the Novorossiysk Municipal Entity; Alexey Prokopenko, President of Romex Group; and Denis Tkach, Managing Director of X5 Import.

The hub’s advanced warehouse equipment means we will be able to offer even fresher products to our customers across the Company’s vast footprint in Russia,” said Denis Tkach, Managing Director of X5 Import.

The Company’s fourth facility of this kind, the warehouse complies with the latest food storage standards, including in temperature and humidity control, which guarantees product safety and quality at all stages of the logistics chain.
