Moscow, 10 April 2023 – 5Post, an X5 Group subsidiary created to develop new logistics services, wrapped up its performance for 2022 and Q1 2023 at a business breakfast with partners.
In 2022, the company ranked among the top three logistics companies serving the Russian e-commerce marketby volume of delivered online orders: 5Post delivered over 25 million orders to customers and boosted its audience by almost 30% to 12.3 million. In 2022, the company welcomed a record number of new partners – 196, with over 30 new partners connected to the service every month during the fourth quarter. This rapid growth contributed to 5Post finishing 2022 with a positive EBITDA.
In Q1 2023, 5Post maintained its positive growth momentum: in March 2023, X5’s logistics operator increased the number of parcels shipped by 19.2% and revenue by 33.4% year-on-year. The number of delivery outlets has grown by 1,300 to 18,600 lockers and pickup points.

New partner numbers have also been growing apace, with 86 new online stores connected between January and March 2023, a fivefold increase year-on-year. In total, close to 400 businesses currently use 5Post’s services. An increasingly higher number of partners start sending parcels via the service as early as five days after applying to connect to 5Post.
Vitaly Dyrdasov, Managing Director of 5Post, commented:
“The e-com market has always been challenging for logistics operators, and now the time has come to test the robustness of their business models. The 5Post logistics service continues to build up its market share by enhancing its product and honing its competitive edge as well as by ramping up its investment programme. We have continued to expand our footprint and increase the number of delivery outlets, demonstrating that we can offer stable, high-quality service and fully deliver on our financial obligations to partners. In 2023, 5Post plans to follow Pyaterochka’s lead in rolling out its operations to Siberia and the Russian Far East.”
Currently, the company is focused on developing products that simplify access to the service and plans to streamline partnership capabilities via corporate offers and personal accounts in 2023. In parallel, 5Post continues to invest in infrastructure development to secure logistics capabilities required to maintain its growth at the current pace.
