Amsterdam, 12 May 2020 – X5 Retail Group N.V. ("X5" or the "Company"), a leading Russian food retailer that operates the Pyaterochka, Perekrestok and Karusel chains (LSE and MOEX ticker: "FIVE"), announces the results of the Company’s Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (the ‘AGM’) held today, 12 May 2020.
All of the resolutions proposed to the AGM were approved by the shareholders and holders of global depository receipts. In addition to the adoption of the financial statements for the financial year 2019, other key items resolved at the AGM include:
- Appointment of Marat Atnashev as member of the Supervisory Board;
- Remuneration policies for members of the Management Board and Supervisory Board, amended in line with the EU Shareholder Rights Directive II.
